BA Sunglasses holder upgrade

Just got a GT for a few days and found the overhead console a great addition.

Has anyone added one to there BA?

if so, how did it attach and is it a Ford spare part?

Re: BA Sunglasses holder upgrade

Yes it is a Ford spare part the number of which is BA F519A58 A6L. The last time I requested a price was from Stillwell Ford in Adelaide and they quoted me $180:00.
They AU's also had them but they are different due to a redesign in the roof lining of the BA you cannot get one to fit unless you trim it apparently. I was hoping to get one from an AU wreck but gone is that idea.

I had one in my AUII, found that they are useless. Great place to put your sunnies until summer. Under the summer sun the sunnies get so hot in the console that they tatoo your head when you go to put them on. I learnt very quickly to keep them in the centre console LOL

Re: BA Sunglasses holder upgrade

Thanks for the input guys. I throw my sunnies in the cup holder at the moment and found the holder in the GT a good idea, i'm not into tattos though :)
