Before I consider spending some $900.00 has anyone fitted a SS throttle body to a BA XR 260 or GT. Just wondering whether its worth the cash, any probs or if you noticed any significant improvement?. Current mods at present are cold air, BMC filter and helix spacer.
I have been told this item has not made any difference to performance.
I spoke with a known performance specialist who has put his GT on his dyno with the new 80mm throttle body and it produced exactly the same kw's, as with the standard throttle body!!
This product from ss inductions has a helix type spacer built in.
I would have to question if the helix spacer from Herrod, makes any difference at all...

I have also tested my car with the ss inductions big mouth air filter v's the Bmc f1 filter on the dyno and found no difference at all!!!
Cost for the big mouth filter from ford is around $150.
Cost for the Bmc around $185.
