Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has put an aftermarket cold air intake on there BA V8. If so did it help, Any noticeable differance etc. Seen a few on eBay which dont look too bad

Any suggestions?

Hi there,
I put the AWC cold air and underdrives on the XR8 at the same time.
Definately notice the difference in power.
Big surprise to me was the fuel economy on a cruise control trip of 550kms which I do often, went from 11.7 l/100km to 10.4.
Probably round town and with boot in it there's no difference in economy.
The AWC item looks good and is easy to fit.

I noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever. I put an SS unit on, put a hole through the radiator while drilling the one and only hole needed, put a new radiator in ($260) then could not tell the difference. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was a bit of a wank.

i put the ss one on my pursuit,it does sound better,but i doubt it goes any better
