I know the fog lights look good on the BA XRs but honestly who actually uses them. I see some people up here driving with them on just on dark and drizzling rain but usually it's just a w**k thing.
What else can you put in there other than just air holes for the brakes?
They are to low for driving lights....do we really need something there at all? What's your thoughts?
Well I quite like them...I agree that they may be a bit useless....but drive with them on at night, and then without them and you can see a big difference. They aren't fog lights, so there are no issues with using them as driving lights and therefore are good to use as driving lights to make you more visible...which is effectively what they are all about.
The XRs wouldn't look the same without them, they are part of the reason why the front of the XRs look so good!

I think it's illegal to drive with only your driving lights on in Canberra. I think they're supposed to be hooked up to the High beam circuit.
I don't see why there would be a problem with the BA lights being used as driving lights considering they aren't bloody bright fog lights. The are simply normal lights...they make you more visible...I can't see why a cop would be able to pull you over because of that.

I reckon watching the four lights approach you from the rear end looks extremely mean and intimidating. It is quite common on cars these days I noticed.
Hope its not a w@nk thing cos I always have it on when my lights are on :oÞ
i love the lights - in sydney its been raining for the last week and ive had them on the whole time to make the car more visible. I got booked for speeding last week though and when i got pulled over i thought i may get booked for having "fog lights" on as well, but the cop actually commended me for trying to be more visible in the wet! go figure
