Howdi all,

I am looking at picking up the BA XR-8 monster but want to get a better idea of fuel consuption. A mate has a VX SS which uses about 14ltr/100kms around town. I have read reviews saying the XR can be as high as 19ltrs/100kms, Any owners out there can you give me an idea on what your fuel consuption is like. I would also be interested in hearing about the XR-6T consuption as well.

i have a atmo ba xr6 it consumes 19l per 100 kms

BA XR8 ute (auto) 18-20 around town 13-14 on the highway.

f%^k me that is heaps. Though with these Boss engines, I am sure a few more clicks under the belt will loosen her up and improve economy

Like rod c , i'm getting 18-20L around town , and 11 to 12L on highway ( manual )
Lay the right foot into it often enough , and 24L/100 is easily acheivable .

Mine cops a caning and i get around 15-18lt/100 but it's a mixture of city/freeway driving, it has dropped after doing over 11,000km's though
