Does anyone know how to unscrew the gearknob off. I've tried but it seems be more a little more difficault than i thought. Is there any tricks i should knnow about??

When we first got an assembly in we were wondering the same thing but got it off witha bit of brute force.

It just unscrews, give it some!!!!!

I have had to change mine 3 times, the factory one has tarnished twice, ford has now given me a momo one should be right now!!!!

They have Loctite on the thread.

they should have used Loctite at the Sydney Motor Show... plenty of people worked out how to replace them there or should I say liberate them.

Should i be rotating anti clock wise or clock wise?
The DAM thing is refusing to come off. I have the Momo Gear Knob and need to put it on.
