For those of you familiar with NZ Roads, Yesterday I drove from Paraparaumu to Taupo. it was a great drive with no assholes on the road (unusual!).
On the way I saw Upwards Of 15 VY Commies, mainly Exec's. Out of the 15, 12 were rentals (they had the COF sticker in the center top of the windscreen - this is for rentals and taxi's only, regular cars have a WOF sticker at the top right). There was a green ute with a white canopy (YUK!), A HWP car with steel wheels, and the other was an SV8 (looked damn cheap in white).
Countering this was the 17 BA Falcon's I saw. 15 of them were XR6's (I could only Verify Two turbo's), One XT, and a Fairmont Ghia. The ONLY rental was the XT, Which Looked Phat. The XR6 Looks absolutley incredible charging through 25km/h corners on the desert road.
My point is, It seem's the discerning Private Buyer Is swaying toward the BA in much greater numbers than the VY. Well In that small, 3hr 40minute window of time they were anyway. :D
Incedentally I saw an Absolute Ton Of AU XR Product also.
