Just a question? Ive got a BA XR6 N/A with a full de philipo exhaust set up and a powerchip. What times over the quarter show I get ? And would a current SV6 pull away from my BA with ease?

I had a go at with my fathers XR6 Manual at a SV6 at the lights some 3 weeks ago and went from firts all the way to fourth and was a whole two car lengths infront all the time. But take into consideration that my XR was just started and the engine was still cold wich makes the XR6 go 10 times better performer than with a war engine

Hmmm.... not really the best idea to give it to a cold engine. Nor flat in 3rd on public roads, but i can understand the temptation- Its so fun :)
I doubt you'd get more performance when its cold- even richer fueling. The only gain you could get is from the incoming air not being warmed up by the inlet manifold and head, but i doubt this'd offset the ultra rich fuel load you'd be getting when its cold.

Well buddy the slacker that my dad drives "XR6" just runs better when its cold. Seing as i am not an expert with cars and dont know whats happening i cant comment to much apart from sayin when i drive it that once the car is started and driven cold that it just pulls way better than when it reaches its normal engine temperature.
When it reaches the normal temperature ( between the second and third line one the tacho ) I just have the feeling that something is choking it just like it happens to cars during hot summer days.

I hope this makes sense
Mate, you shouldn't be thrashing any engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
