if you company has a fleet discount you can buy a brand new xr6 for $34,000. that is for the auto, standard.

Can a company buy one for an employee under fleet deal, in the employees name as it would need to be if your leaving, with the employee as the person taking out the finance (I assume)? It would have to be a generous boss, especially if you're leaving the company.

With my company, Telstra. Any permanent fulltime or part time employee and their partner can buy a car at those prices. Most discounts are around 5k... up to about 6k on the xr8.
