Im currently have an arguement with a friend over who would win between and BA XR6 and a VL commodore. Now his telling me his stock VL which just has a cold air intake would beat a BA XR6!

I drive a VL 6 with extractors, exhaust, ported head, cam, LSD and 5speed box, and it would not stand a chance in a race with an XR6, NO WAY!!! Hahahahahaha!!!!!! Just goes to show, you dont have to have a long neck to be a goose. He'd be lucky to run a low 16, and the XR6 runs in the 15's.

PS: My VL will be up for sale soon....

tell him to shut up, and actually drive an Xr6 before he makes stupid coments like that.
i here crap like that at partys from other VL owners, my VL ripped a twin turbo supra, my VL ripped a skyline GTST. there are alot of people who think there car is the quickest thing on earth cos they abviously have never been in a real fast car
Ive driven my brothers VL, and my EF feels soo much more quicker, and my car is not quick by any means

i think the guy who is making the claim that he can beat your XR6 is part of the "I own a stock VL and have got the fastest car in the world" club. if he doesnt beleive you race him at the drag strip for pink slips and when you win use his car as a paddock basher.

Get this, a doodle in my course at uni has (well his parents do) have a 6 cylinder vt commodore s, non supercharged, with a motec engine management system (apparently) and he reckons it beats xr6 turbos. I doubt this is true? I laugh at him everytime he says xr6 turbos are shit. People make me crazy. :(
