Hi all,
its been a while since i last asked so i thought id see if how its going:)
Whats the latest acheivements on the drag strip for these beasts? Auto? Manual? Modded? Stock?
Im particularly interested in stock and modded auto BA XR8 times ( you will know why soon:)), but i like to know what the manuals are getting too.
HI OZZYJIM, Auto, SS CAI & T/B , Diphillpo headers & cats with Herrod cats back, BPT helix 80mm, and a Unichip, tuned by APS...and heaps of help from rod..ET:13.70 in my 2 ton truck...
Times come down when you join OFR ask rodderz and ray n rod..lol
Now that i've had a chance to drive it more the pullies make the Boss rev out a lot quicker. Particularly noticeable in 1st and 2nd gear, it can break traction in 1st gear on any surface once it gets to 4500rpm in the ute and occasionally even in 2nd. No issues with charging, steering, cooling etc, a good addition
Interesting in the wet...lol

lol, yes
I actually hit the limiter in 1st at calder twice, you have to be on the ball and adjust your reaction to it revving out and changing gears. Best way i could descibe it is that it almost seems the road is half wet and tyres start spinning
