dont think we will run a 9 this week, have to adjust the jock strap a little for that one

only going to screw it up around 6800 this week, still learning ( shit scared ) & dont want to hurt anything in the process

Would be interesting to see the outcome of this, i guess your biggest problem would be the associated wiring of it, how the drive by wire would be set up etc and what plenum design you would go for

We have seen increases from small changes like throttle body helix spacers so a twin t/b setup and bigger plenum i would think would make a good gain

Rodderz.
Yes your right. We have seen good gains with the 80mm TB and spacers, so that tells me we could gain more in this area. Have you heard the intake of a TB without the duct on???? Could suck a football through I reckon!

The problem I'm more concerned about is the idle, so I've nearly finished a jiggy-ma-thing so as to only start opening the second TB after about 1500rpm onwards. Just have to get the ratios right so it's wide open throttle when the other is. I will try it one for one first and see how I go though.

And yes, it will be interesting!!!

Re: BA XR8 0-400 times??

i was told the standard Boss motor has already more air than it needs now, just needs better quality of cold air...

how are you going to rev it to 6800rpm, aren't the V8s limited to 5900rpm??

Dave.
