Hi guys,

I'll soon be test driving the new XR8. Can't wait!!!

I've got a quote already on leather, sound, brakes, sports steering wheel and it's come to $62,000 on the road.

I'm now researching leasing, as i'm in the highest tax bracket. Hopefully it'll make it worthwhile me trading in the AUII.

I'll let you know all know how the thrash goes

You should wait for an ex demo, save heaps on all the tax not to mention off the new car price

I'm thinking GT but i don't like the striping on it. Can't justify the GT-P

Mate THANK GOODNESS that the striping is optional! For the figures you've quoted above, I'd take a long hard look at GT!

If the striping is optional, i think i'll wait till i see one in the flesh before i commit to one or the other.

That pricing included quite a number of options. I'll still need at least premium sound and leather in the GT if and when i purchase.

id take the gt the stripes are not compulsary.
