What fuel consumption figures are people getting out of there BA XR8, as I am looking at getting one.

Good to see i'm not the only one fulfilling their end of the bargain.
City driving sinking the boot in given any chance .
I filled up last night and the range indicated 310 . Tonight i'm looking at 23.6L/100. I don't like decimals , so I think i'm gonna have to lay the boot in a little more

15.3L/100 in the city driving normally. roughly 420Km range driving it normally as well.

On the country road i got about 11 - 12 /100

I guess your XR is not so much run in as sprinted in!

I've only got an AU V8, but I get that sort of 'economy' towing my boat to the coast. Obviously, I don't drive it hard enough around town. Will have to work on that.

hoich, if fuel consumption is important to your decision, then i don't think you will be buying an XR8.

fuel consumption doesn't bother me because i bought a performance car (V8 mate)

i done freeway driving for about 400kms. the avg. was around 11l/100km, i didn't reset the trip computer and in the next tank of petrol the average seems to be going up and up. it's upto 16.5l/100kms.
if i reset the computer it will show avg of 19 to 20l/100kms.
i also get about 280km per tank before it starts beeping

FANTM1

Anywhere between 450 & 500 plus k's per tank(depends a lot on the right foot) for outer suburb (rural) driving, to open road. Cannot not match the automatic AUXR8 (220kW) of 700K's on the open road(10 litres/100k app.), but similar for local driving.
