from an stock EL futura and what a difference
i thought the ol' EL was a good drive but the BA ....for a stock family size car they are a great drive
the XR6T and 8 must be ridiculous.....mmm....maybe next time

A wonderful car,a delight to drive.The sports pack with its 17" (love those wheels) and sports suspension makes it a great handling car,and the body kit is great. I love the fact that they are much less common then XR6NA, so stands out more.

Love the colour BTW,that Blue Pearl or Narooma? What options did you get on yours?

My XT Sports sedan is Lightning Strike and Im in Sydney too, so will keep an eye out for you on highways!

Thanks bro!....its a Blue Pearl auto with cruise, tints, scuffs ........thats all i need for a hectic city like Sydney.

ive only seen a few XT sports around...like you said ...there are heaps more XR6's and 8's around.

anyway if you got any advice or suggestions about anything like tyres exhausts etc, let me know on thesal308@yahoo.com

Sports pack consists of:
17" 7 spoke wheels and tyres
body kit (different/bigger front, side and rear skirts to XT, hi arch rear wing)
sports suspension (same as ghia, I believe)

From what I can see they arent lowered as much as XR6/8 in fact the rear ride height seems the same as stock XT but the front suspension is noticably lower then stock.

thats looks sweet jemmex.

I reckon colour coding that black plastic strip down the side is must though IMHO. But that sports pack looks awesome.

I didnt realise the ghia suspension was put on there either.

Thanks for that. I love it!

I thought a lot about colour matching the strip and mirrors,but have decided against it. Its a silver car with black windows and window surrounds, black headlights, front grille, mudspats, mirros and strips, in othe words the whole thing is colour keyed. With plain silver strips it might look a little "flat" the black is like a highlight, gives it a lift. mmm stripes...

Inside its all black with silver trim. I put black and silver seat covers onf ront and back and some black and silver floor mats. So its clour matched throughout. Silver with black trim outside, black with silver inside.

It works, and is kinda unique

At Xmas dealers had a deal on XT sports,
In fact thery were about 1500 CHEAPER then std XT. (but hey list price means nothing)

Iv got a BA sports pak as well in Acid Rush and iv been asked a few times if it is a XR and when i say i know they reakon that they look great as aswell, I love my car and the colour sets it off well................ Go the Fords.................
