well i jumped on and painted my calipers today. surprise surprise they are red, but it fits with my car so im happy.





this was the 1st major sort of work ive done on the car since i got it. took about 5 hours but i got interrupted by my neighbor and ea_bender so it was about 3.5-4 hours of real work. i used THIS guide that i found on the forums, thanks Mr.Cube. used legit caliper paint [the 450 degree celcius stuff] in 'racing red' from supercheap. i recommend this to anyone as it is a piece of piss to do and looks great.

its especially fun when you have to park up on the road to do the fronts cos your driveway is at a 20 degree angle, and its a really windy day, and the newspaper you are using to mask keeps blowing all over the place and when you spray a huge gust builds up and sends paint particles down the side of the car lol.
i know you mentioned that red isnt a highly original colour, but it fits in very well with the badging and trim
