Just an interesting thing i was just thinking about.
Now that we have all the cars out for us to see (or so we think!) - What would we like to see in after market, or, what would we like to see from people such as Herrod and Autotek? (things like the 300+ and arrow coupe).
Personally, I want to see a big stonker ute, because I like how Ford kicks ass with utes. 350kw ute, just to prove we mean business.
The other thing I wanted to see, was a 300kw Turbo 6 Coupe. Imagine that at the lights with a Skyline? I can picture it already.
Originally posted by dannys_q as for the coupe, it can be done, and we wont be bagged out by calling it a coupe, where holden went and called it a monaro, when its really just a 2 door comy.
So what. What else was it going to be based on? Chev Monte Carlo? I thought people were over this sort of manure.
Sorry, but the Monaro is a fantastic design. It wouldn't be exported if it was just a two door Commode.

and sorry for upsetting you FM, but i wanted to xpress my 2c, i hope you understand and forgive my youthfulness and undying support for the FORD and holden competition
Originally posted by dannys_q yes i agree audio, we have holden and all oteh companies by the balls when we refer to utes, so a BEAUT UTE would be the go.

WTF do you think the original Monaro was? A 2 Door Kingswood FFS.
Was it called the "Kingswood Coupe"? Nope.
Of course a commo was coing to be called monaro. and before you bag it, go and drive it.
I am Sorry, But I am Starting to get Annoyed By Ignorance, Which i mainly come across when talking to holden fans... But it exists here too.
The current model was not originally going to be called Monaro. Simcoe felt this was looking to the past with a thoroughly modern car. But the public voice wanting a badge from yesterday was too strong.
As for a concept, maybe a convertible or something would be original. Maybe a hybrid-electric 4.0 six, promising V8 performance, would be nice. :D
