I have been reading on the forums of huge delays in getting BAs in particular XR6Ts GTs & XR8s
I was in the local FPV shop this morning and they had a blueprint GT with leather, a white XR6T auto, a phantom xr8 auto and a yellow (rush) xr8 manual all sitting there waiting to be loved.
Does this mean the end of the delays or is it just a QLD thing?

Here is wisdom.
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the BEAST:
for it is the number of a F6 Typhoon; and its number is 0217.
My local dealer has got a few XR8's, one demo venom XR6T, Phantom Persuit, Acid rush GT and blood orange GTP in stock and about 2 N/A auto XR6's.
I believe the only way your going to be able to get them is directly from this dealer, no stock swapping going on as they are still rare as the proverbial.
The ones sitting in the dealer will most likely be stock units- which are ordered by the dealer for demo or display use. Usually they dont have a great deal of options fitted, most would be just the car without options.
You can buy one of these straight away, or if you can decide on a different colour or add an accessory and go on the end of the list to wait a few months such is the demand. Most people wanting options, they will have to wait! (except for dealer-fitted options)

At a few dealers around Melbourne I've seen a few XR6T's (auto and man), several XR8 sedans (auto and man.), several XR6 utes (inc. XR6T's) a couple of GT-P's, GT's and one Pursuit. All have been in various colours and some have been heavily optioned.
As yet I have only seen one XR8 auto ute and that lasted maybe 5 days (venom, well optioned too with 18"s leather and Psound). Seems to be one of the rarest models at the moment.
As Rodderz says, many of these cars would probably been stock units although others may have been special orders where the customer didn't show them the money. (Although I'm not sure what the story is with the green XR8 at a local dealer, see how long that hangs around).
A colleague at work was asking on the weekend about XR6T's and was told by his dealer up to 6 months.
Really depends on the dealer, their allocations and their backlog.
