Hey there, just one month to go till i get my XR8 in black!

There is quite a bit to discussion about putting graphics and badges on the BA XR series. Some suggestions are "BOSS 260" and "BOSS 240T" etc on different parts, as well as replicating the GT series stripes. I was going for orange, but in the end decided on BLACK. Now im thinking about some "BOSS 260" somethings somewhere to give it the 'something different' feel. Maybe on the side of the bonnet hump??

What have you done to yours? Any photos? and good suggestions are welcome!!!

I think you should leave it the way it is. The XR8's look tough enough without the 'wanna be GT' stripes down the side.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not trying to bag ya. If you decide to do it, get the stripes in grey or something.

I'm just voicing my opinion to keep ya car the way it is. Spend ya cash on the go than show! Put it toward a CAPA supercharger so you can have 300rwkw and kill some holden ass!

on the side of the buldge would look good but what i think would look good also is BOSS written in the GT style writing put on the bottom of the rear passenger doors like where the gt badge is

orange on a black car would look tops i think

A nice set set of scuffs to match the car - and tint the windows, you'll be as happy as a pig in shite.

if your really keen, do it in photoshop before you go ahead.

Cheers people... With the black car, im not going to do the GT stripes thing. But some little (small) touches here and there is on the cards!

Like the BOSS260 graphics on the 8 in the pic above.

Hey 'DGROMS.com', normally putting performance kits on standard cars looks crap (see every holdrn with a kit on and even the older GT falcon kits)... but what you have done looks FANTASTIC! Good Job!!!
