That's interesting, it quantifies what you "think" might be happening. One surprise is how few SV8 Commodores are sold, clearly if people are going to buy a performance V8 Commodore they go the whole hog and get an SS. Also not great sales of the FPVs. Thanks Madder.
From what date are those figures set? Surely that's not since the first BA rolled off the show room? I see XR6's everywhere I go, and that's just in Melbourne alone, there is no way they have only sold 8168. 8168 is still a massive figure, but it just seems there is way more on the road, I see more XR6's than I do XT sedans on some days!
Well why wouldn't you opt' for an XR6 over the base Falcon XT/Futura they are only a couple g's more, lot's of company vehicle's are XR6's, so it doesn't surprise me to see the XR6 leading the pack, the XR8 is a little worrying though.

Gee, lucky i sold my BA XR6 when i did. I wouldn't want to be selling in the near future......With that many on the road, and companies taking them up for company cars, the resale value will plummet even further...........
