Lightening Strikes new colour replacing Ice Mint Silver
Cars built in August in the colour Ice Mint Silver will be the last of that colour, and on October 1st that colour will be replaced by a new colour called Lightning Strikes, a clear light silver.
I think it's a good idea they are changing things around, slight changes are all good and it may even improve resale prices, considering a colour may only run for a year or so

I think the Blue that replaces Blueprint (as a hero colour) is not that new blue shown on the Fairlane website. Rather, it's the blue Rob Herrod called 'Shockwave' which one of the Targa XR6Ts was painted in.

By saying it replaces blueprint as a hero colour, does that mean it will be available on FPV only?
You've already seen wild new colours such as Acid Rush, Citrus and Phantom on Ford's BA Falcon, but there's much more to come.
Ford Australia president Geoff Polites says the company intends to release a range of limited-edition colours for the Falcon each year or so, similar to the way that arch-rival Holden has offered buyers a different "hero" colour with each generation of Commodore (Tiger for VTII/VX, Hyper Yellow for VXII and Hothouse Green for VY).
Look out for a replacement for Blueprint (the current bright metallic blue), as well as a bright green tint within the next year or so.
