Just fitted a BMC panel air filter to my BA XT V8 and she now makes a nice V8 growl from the air intake from anything above 2500rpm.
With the top freeing up a little from 4000rpm to 5000rpm.
The product is a great fit and looks well made.
Just odd that the only performance filter you can buy is made in Italy.

Is this one oiled, can it be re-used?

I am trying to find a good non oiled air filter, don't like the idea of MAF contamination from over oiled filters.

Not really an issue as long as you go easy on the oil, they dont need much oiling... The K&N oil is the one to use as it comes in a spray bottle. The ones in the squeeze bottles are no good, they are messy and it's very easy to over oil using them...

Would you mind posting the part number?

As far as I know, the N/A 6, T6 & SOHC V8 all use the same airbox and filter pad, so it would come in handy to know when i go looking for one shortly.

You can buy them from www.autospeed.com for around $145.00.
Part number listed is 327/04, its a little on the dear side but my standed filter needed to be replaced so i payed the extra $100 bucks more for the BMC.

Funny that, I just bought one from autospeed tonight. For the NF it was $132 plus I bought a clean and oil kit for about $30.

I let yas know how soon my MAF clogs. (still not convinced)
