BPT Performance pack WOW what a differance

I just have just had the last part fitted from BPT to make up the BPT performance Kit, The Helix spacer, what a differance this made to throttle response & fuel economy. I could not believe the differance this makes to the low down response, an added bonus is fuel economy has improved by approx 40 KLM'S per tank.
Barry once again comes through with the no BS approach & even though I can not understand how creating added turbulance in the intake can makes this amount of improvement.
I now have headers, BPT COLD AIR, BPT underdrives, BPT helix spacer, 260 rwkw. Its hard to work out what gave the best bang for the buck, Maybe the underdrives, hey you just have to have them all.

In low gear on the roll you hit the throttle, JUST brakes traction severly , change into second still no traction & severe fishtales all the way to the limiter & hooks into 3rd.

BYE BYE DUNLOP , TIME TO MOVE TO STICKY RUBBER & HARNESS THE BEAST.
can't wait for Barry's flasher ???

The underdrives certainly do make it rev quicker dont they! Havent made an accurate measurement on mine but it would be interesting to have a test (pref an auto for consistancy) where takeoff to redline could be timed before and after installing the pullies. I think you'de find it'd rev out a tad quicker afterwards

Re: BPT Performance pack WOW what a differance

Its a Gt

I have picked up an extra 100klm range per tank, I use roughly 1 tank a week thats an extra 5200 klm free per year.

Not that I'm a economy freak, It makes it easy to justify the mods to the handbrake.
Look at how much money I saved modifying my BA.

That makes BPT Helix plate a bargin.

Re: BPT Performance pack WOW what a differance

BPT have a good range of products that are good value for money, i see this stuff every week looks good quality, its becoming very popular not just for the BA guys.
Barry has a broad range of products for most Falcons..and there working on i6 underdrives lets hope all goes well...
