Please note this is Government pricing so please dont ask if you can get it.
Ok, rang around and got some prices on an XR6T, I got this great deal and trade for the NA XR6 (June 03 Build) they are willing to give us for a trade in what a auto XR6T cost new, so the NA will be going down next weekend and I will be picking up a Mercury XR6T so the car will look identical to what I have now (and have had for only about 4 weeks now) except it will have a snail and auto trans.
With what I gather to be a great auto box and with the added benefit of the snail, this is going to one hell of a fine car.

What made me do it? I would be mad not to. Hell, I get a car that is one month newer (July 2003) has 3500kms less and at the end of the day is worth more, all for nothing! As we dont pay stamp duty or anything we have gone from 2003 VXS pack to 2003 XR6T (via a NA XR6) for a total cost of $19.00 (2 large pizzas).
Oh the joy of Government pricing.
