Bris Car Clubs

G'day all;

Can someone give me some names of Car Clubs (not rice) that operate in the inner city area?

I'm jack of paying $800 rego...time to move to Club Rego, given I drive it (the XT) seldom anyway.

Are you a member of a good club? I'd like to hear from you!

Cheers,

Rick

Could I butt in and ask what the deal is with club rego? I've heard about 14 different (and conflicting!) versions of what club rego actually is. The only thing I know for sure is that it's cheaper!

Could you sehd some light on what it entails?

Re: Bris Car Clubs

pretty much restricted use of your car. 15km radius of home for test and tune. sanctioned club runs plus going to or from club runs. a club run consists of 2 or more cars. take your car to be worked on (for example i'd have to travel 200km to mackay).
good value at about $220 per year for our gt.

nearly forgot....car has to be at least 30 year old.

Yeah, I know I'd have to wait a bit for mine..! I heard it also restricted use to weekends only, but if you're right that doesn't seem to be the case. Cool. :)

Question Re: Bris Car Clubs

Soooooo, getting back to my original question..

Who here is in a Brizzy Club, and can you give details on what was required to switch over to Club Rego? (ie did the Club stamp the app form etc etc)

Cheers,

R
