I want to colour code the bumpers on my EA. The front one has a split in the bottom, and the rear one is a bit shabby. Which means ruling out painting them. (I didn't want to paint them anyway.)
Now, my Q is, will other bumpers from EB, ED even, fit onto an EA? And is it as simple as unscrewing a few nuts and screwing on a new one?
And, I have a towbar I didn't want anyway, what's involved in removing that?

if you have no towball, just a towbar, it should be in 2 pieces, the tongue which is bolted to the bar with two BIG bolts from underneath, and the rest of the bar is bolted from inside the boot, and underneath, you will need to remove bumper first to remove towbar fully.

I did put something here, but it vanshied, I think
Does the rear bar on your EA have the metal plate that pop rivets to the under side of the wheel well? Late production EA's got that to stop bumper sagging and not lining up.
: Edit: What I mean is it stops the lower lip sagginf over time. I quite often see EA's where the lower edge doesnt match up on each side of the exhaust.
