Buttons question

I have a BA Fairmont Ghia and was reading the manual to see where the fog lamp button is. The manual says if the car has fog lamps fitted, the button looks like this, blah blah... I can't find it... does it only work on auto for the ghia?

Re: Buttons question

i dont have a ghia, but my fogs dont come on with auto, there is a push button on the right hand side of the steering wheel on the dash. dont know if this is different with your car. its the top button.

but once the button is on, the fogs will turn on and off with the auto lights.

Re: Buttons question

i also own a ba fairmont ghia, fairmont ghias do not come out with spot lights, only the xr range have spot lights, with a switch to the left of the steering wheel, the lights on the ghias are actually turning/cornering lamps, designed to activate only when the indicator is activated.

Re: Buttons question

No,
they are not fog lamps.
As suggested. Turn you headlights and a blinker on....you will see one come on.

the idea of it is so you can see what you are turning into.

It is not a new idea.
