Buzzzzzzzzzz

It's been a while since I've been here, and just read that post about the BA interior roof looking crap...he he....wtf?? I'm too busy looking at the road to care he he

Anyways...

I have a prob with my BA, and I was hoping that one of you gurus or someone with any inside tech knowledge of the BA might be able to help.

My BA XR6 NA makes a buzzing sound from underneath/engine when the car is accelerating or cruising under load at exactly 1850 revs.

I took it into the shop once and they said there was no problem. I said get screwed and took em for a drive and THEN they hear it. The guy says "Yep, thats a loose exhaust heat shield." ... and they go away and fix it.

Problem is the buzz is now back after a month. Does anyway know if it might be something else? Or if it's possible for the heat shield to worn it's way loose again so soon???

I'd like to go back in armed with any knowlege I can get :)

Thanks dudes
Gad

Re: Buzzzzzzzzzz

So the prob was fixed after they fixed the heat shield??? if so, it sounds like it would be the same problem!
