seems a bit steep, and also has too many ribbed bends in it, a piece of 3 inch stainless steel exhaust mandrel bent at the local exhaust shop, and a bought pod would be cheaper I thought, and better as well.

Well it does depend on a few things, and theres a few different ways to do it.
One involves the use of a hole saw on one of your panels (underneath the airbox), so you may not be keen on doing that. I'd do it but seeing as my brake ducts have lights in them, there's no point cos very little air would get through anyway.
Well if there is anyone located near the Sutherland Shire in NSW who knows how to install CAI in brake ducts (is that even legal?) and is willing to do it for a case of beer (or whatever $ amount its worth) let me know!
