Can anyone recommend a cam/chip/exhaust combination from anywhere. Have read articles about a Chiptorque set up for good results. Love reading the turbo threads but have to be budget realistic, maybe later!

yes i have a dev5 cam in my car also very nice, if JMM is to pricey for you have a look at wade cams (they make mock cams i think) very similer but not so much lift.
The Tickford AU XR6 cam grind is great, don't bother changing it because the cost of doing so won't give you an increase worth paying for. My car is proof of that. Just put on a good set of headers, 2.5" exhaust with a hi-flow cat, and increase your air flow in (various ways to do this, everything from XR8 snorkels, EF lids and K&N filters, to fitting the entire BA intake...) and you'll be set. Best stuff you can do without opening the engine. Probably wouldn't worry about a chip unless you go for more extensive mods. The E-Series guys (especially those with non-XR engines) do more because they started with less.
