Can you rotate the outlet of the V2 supercharger by simply undoing the cap screws or is it more complicated such as having it re-sealed?

Yes you just undo the cap head screws that hold the rear housing on.. The housing should easily drop of with a slight tap around the perimetre..

Then re-position in the spot needed, make sure the o'ring is put on in its correct state.. Just then turn the unit by hand to ensure the impellor does not foul the housing and that the housing it seated back correctly on the unit itself...

what is the torque setting for that

I gather you are talking about the tension on the housing retainer screws??
Just do them tight, not overly.. Obviously enough so they dont loosen off..

Also just physically turn the unit by hand to ensure the housing is on square and that the impellor does not touch housing for any particular reason..
