center of dash in au - Ford Forums

hi guys mate of mine has a 99 Au and needs to take the center pod out of the dash is it screwed in or just on clips so that you can pop it out thanks guys

Hi
If it is a series 1 AU, you need to remove the radio (need the radio pins for that) and the ashtray. There'll be one screw on each side of the radio and 2 behind the ashtray. After that, disconnect the temp regulator cable from the heater (easy to get to after you remove the glovebox) and pull it forward. I think there are 6 or 8 clips around the edges.
