I remember seeing once that a member here on FF replaced the black upper grille on their XR with the chromed one off the futura. Does anyone know the thread? I searched but I cant find it. Ive just got a mate interested in doing it and he'd like to see pics.

Thanks RATT, but I was actually talking about the meshing part where the Ford badge is attached on to. I think that they are off the futura.

and the chrome surround grill doesnt fit on the XR's....found that out the hard ( read expensive ) way....

me too.. with the fairmont/gt analouge clock.. doesnt fit the falcon range. no wiring loom or some crap!

lost $120 and no refund on the clock!

Get an autoelectrician to wire in the clock for you, there is no wiring for it in the non climate controlled ICC but it can be done. Simplest way is just getting power to it. Do a search and you will find some answers.
