confused Clutch Query

The clutch pedal in my BA is almost right out before take up and there is little, if any freeplay in it.

I had the dealer have a look at it, but he's not sure if it's "normal" or not because he hasn't driven many manual BA's! He did tell me the clutch had hydraulic operation and had no adjustment!

Any help and advise appreciated.

Cheers!

Well I know that on the XR it has come up a bit, but not right up to the top. For me it has staying in the same relative spot for the past few weeks.

Yes the clutch is self-adjusting. As the clutch plate wears, it automatically adjusts itself.

Havent had any dramas myself with the clutch, pretty good IMO. Only thing i had to get used to was the low idle and the drive by wire throttle

Only the V8 has a self adjusting pressure plate. The sixes run a conventional pressure plate. Either way, the clutch mechanism is not adjustable. Time will tell if the BA self adjusting PP is any better than the genIII one, which is terrible.
