I bought my material from the Australian Falcon Cobra car club (Mark Pividor). He did say that at that point in time that this would be the last run for original material. It was $250 a meter, so yes it was not cheap. You may have to try the aforementioned response but you may also want to contact Mark and maybe, just maybe they might do another run. Best of luck
Hi, My hubby and i were the ones that organised to get that material made Mark came on bored as he had the contacts in the club and at the moment we have no plans on getting another run. If there was to be another run it would not be for another 2+ years

Are you ahh Crapping at the fact that we had the material orgainised well i guess you don't have all your facts my dear...........IF you did you would know that we had...Do you think Mark Pividor organised it all????? Guess what iv got news for you and it ia alllllllllllllllll Bad.. we refused to have screen printed seats in our cobra so we went to quite a few manufactures till we found one that was willing to make the material to the specs that we wanted the only diferance is this material is 100% wool. so i guess im just making all this up am i????????????....so i guess that means that you don't want any material then????????????
Whoa, shit. What the hell is your problem? I was simply "ah crapping" at the fact that You werent going to make another run for another two years. I was'nt and did not in any way mean to abuse anyone. Either way, i'm not getting the seats re-upholstered for at leats 6 months so if you dont want to sell me any material then i dont really care.
"so i guess that means that you don't want any material then????????????"
No, i dont want any of your material if your going to be an arse about it. Just because your reproducing your own material doesnt mean you should hold it against people.
"so i guess im just making all this up am i????????????...."
I dont know WHAT the hell you are talking about here...
"Guess what iv got news for you and it ia alllllllllllllllll Bad.. "
What made you have to rub it in my face like that? thats just bad manners...

Ok then i must apologies as to me it seem that you were ahh crapping at the fact that we made it.... But if that is not the case then please accept my apology. Please if you are going to do that please stress what you mean as to me it seem that you were ahh crapping at the fact that we were involved as i said im sorry i got the wrong idea.
nah thats ok. the more people making the material the better....cheaper for me. i probably should have elucidated on the matter a bit more thoroughly.
Cheers for clearing that up.
i wish i had a genuine Cobra, and in a few years time i may, but for now i only have a standard XC coupe...
I'm rebuilding it at the moment and i'm nuts about cobras so i'm putting a few Cobra details into it like the Option 96 seat fabric, the paint job (minus the two stripes down the middle and the decals, it isnt a genuine cobra after all), the black interior and the Globes (when i can find a set)

Just to let people know that Mark is now the vice president of the Australian Falcon Cobra Club (Vic) Inc. and that there is now registered incorporated clubs in most states ('Australian Falcon Cobra Car Club' has never been a registered club). Cobra owners decided they would get more benefit from a registered club (such as club plates when the time is right etc), therefore here we are!
These clubs are not integrated, only the names are similar due to Ford giving us permission to use the names. We all know each other of course but the clubs are seperately managed.

Thanks for that Daniel No hard feelings hey us cobra and potential cobra owners have to stick together as there is not many of us around anymore. "Sounds like an expensive project! Are you doing a white paint job? Hey I've seen lots of replicas with the works! It would be cheaper!"
Yeah, i'm just going to paint it Snow White and then add the Bold and Blaze Blue detailing on the sides...i'm not nuts enough to get the whole car bold blue and then lay the white on top of it...and i dont have enuff money
Its going to be expensive but the car is my pride and joy...ive always wanted one, and now i have it!!!
There are some great replicas out there but i just dont feel my car would be right as a replica...dont quite know why...

Thanks very much for clearing that up and thank you again for your offer of membership...I hope to take it up in the coming months when my car nears completion. The fabric i wont be able to afford yet for a few months as i am having rust cut out first and then i'm worrying about the reupholstering, but when i get to that stage you will hear from me!!

I am currently a member of the old Australian Falcon Cobra Car club, does that mean I am able to get a set of the plates. Or, do I have to re-join the local (WA) club???
ps Who ever was responsible for organising the seat material, A HUGE BIG THANKYOU!!!!!
Hi Paul,
At the moment there is no club in WA you are quite welcome to join us in Vic or QLD, We are looking at puting a club in place over in WA but at the moment that is still in the pipe works, Can i ask what number cobra you have???
With Club Reg im not really sure how it works in WA whether you need to be in a club over there or if you join one of us you are still eligible for Club Reg in WA if you can ring you local road traffic and find out if you can let me know it would be interesting to know how that works. As far as we know the Falcon Cobra Car Club is no longer, It was never a registered club to start with, This one is fully incorporated.
As for the seat material you have my hubby Dale to thank for that if it was not for 12 months of blood sweat and tears it would never have happened as he REFUSED to have screen printing done on the seats, You never know enough interest might generate another run........
Cheers Cobra_287

Oh my god...
All I can say is if only..
The XC Cobra, is the car I was ment to own, and trust me, even if it's the death of me, I will own one.
I have a normal XC sedan at the moment, and although its not as fancy as an XC Cobra, It's still my pride and joy....Untill I can get a Cobra,
Sorry this post has no meaning, it's just I've only ever once had the pleasure of seeing one in real life, and I was at work (Domino's Pizza) Earning money for my car, when it pulled up, I had to put this guy on hold because I couldn't breath.
Hi Yakumo,
As A cobra owner we have that happen alot we get the thumbs up or someone will yell out to us at a set of traffic lights, Our 25th Anniversary was a sight we had approx 40 cars going down the freeway to Geelong now that was a sight, Were are you from?? These cars are really a treasure and most owners will treat them that way.
Hope to have you join one of our clubs in the Future.
Dale and Christine
