Cobra's at Bathurst

Does anyone know which of the "option 97" Cobra's took to the racetrack in group C?

Wasn't it the media/show car??

Pretty sure 01 was used in the Ford adverts and have read somewhere that it only had a 302 in it

No none of the real Cobra's were ever raced at any track, most of the race car Cobra's were XB's done up to look like XC Cobra's with only a couple of exception's like Allan Moffat's car this was an XC, but NOT a Cobra.

I'm positive it was'nt as it had the XC GS Raly Pack dash and the rear side indicator's were horizontal and not vertical as the XB's were.

Well done to the man in the white XC with Shelby Stripes (Or is it Briggs Cunningham's stripes?). Had my dig, it is an XC. Learnt my newbie for the day, thank you Mr 207.
