Commodore to Falcon convert
Been a regular 'reader' but a rare 'poster' on this forum but I think this will get a few cheers of support.
I've never had a Ford ever(!) having been a five time Commodore man - until now. Just could not go past an XR6T for value, specification levels, looks, performance, etc, etc. When the SV8 came out, I thought that it would be the cheapy performance car to get into - then Ford came out with the XR6T. Being a biased Holden man, I tried to make the SV8 equation work, but it ended up short on too many fronts.
Having waited 4(!) months for my XR6T, I have never been happier. I was reasonably happy with my previous VX S Scharged but the XR's handling, ride and dynamics are simply in another league.
One thing though - has anyone got their trip computer 'tweaked' at the delaer? On my S, at the 10K service, I had the speed alert turned into a digital speedo which is all I generally used. Has anyone done a similar thing with the BA?
