coupe interior part, need a name...

hi all

There is a small scuff plate on either side of the doors in the coupes. It is on the b pillar near the seatbelt roll at the base of the door and is about twenty centimetres by 15 and curves with the shape of the door. does anybody know what this piece is called? It is made of the same material as the front scuffplates/speaker covers.

Cheers

Re: coupe interior part, need a name...

Up here, we call them kick panels, just like the ones in the front. In fact, I just finished spraying mine black. One was parchment and one was saddle! Not sure if you guys have another name for them.....you know, like boot v. trunk, hood v. bonnet, etc.,.... BTW, do XC's have a "hood release" like XA/XB or is the handle marked "bonnet release"?

Re: coupe interior part, need a name...

I am pretty sure XA_GT_351 knows how much they are wanted.
I sold a set of gen black coupe front and rears for $350, I had people lining up for them.
Remember they are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay, so no matter how big or small they are, the price is through the roof.

Re: coupe interior part, need a name...

So are you trying to encourage him not to sell them to me, or to sell them to me for a ridiculous price...?

I bought a set of genuine coupe front *black* scuff plates for $16...

For $350 i could get a new set made...hell, i could probably get two new sets made. They are only black plastic after all. Fair enough they are rare but $350, thats laughable.

XA_GT_351...post a reply if your interested. Thanks.

Re: coupe interior part, need a name...

I bought a pair of the very tiny black sedan ones that go on the lower B pillar for $50. I guess i won't be needing these anymore as the coupe's gone, You can have them for $100 seeing there for a coupe.

There genuine black (not painted) part number ard2db-65-310a65-aaw R33

I have many other parts too.

2x pairs of xagt bonnet scoops, GT driving lights, GT dash facia's, grill's, coupe door's, guards, rear coupe bumpers, 3x nos xb door handles,XC lense's, set of GXL 12 slot rims, 2x remote boot opener's, Coupe 1/4 glass, Set of black XB coupe doortrims with another pair of black rear kick panels, Pair of (shorter) coupe window winder's for the rear window's, GXL/Cobra steering wheel, Pair of complete XA coupe tailights, XA lense's, plus 4 large boxe's of mystery parts, What could be in there?
