I have heard from another freindly member that you can purchase clear side indicators from any ford dealer (originally fitted to fairlane) to fit an el fairfomnt, for around $30. Does anyone who has fitted them know the part no's or from which model fairlane they are fitted to, also do u have to purchase orange bulbs to go with them? Do they clip staight in ie: no other mods needed to fit them.

Also i wish to tif a nice sounding exhaust. I guess i wanna get the right package there fore just asking for ideas and approx costs. I would like to have something deep and throaty (not loud and annoying), something that sound tough at idling but not overly noisy inside the car. Now that ive confused everyone lol, does anyone have any specifics on what i should go and ask the muffler shop to do to my car (i hate when they give you advice i like to sound like i know what im talking about LOL). And approx costs.

new exhaust, new problem

Unfortunately a "nice sounding exhaust" is such a broad term that is open to a wide variety of interpretations and tastes that it may take some experimentation to get to your liking. I paid $420 for my 2 1/2 cat back on the V8 and then another $60 to get the rear resonator removed, some new piping and the chrome tip welded back on. It is a little droney at 2000 RPM on the high way but sounds nice under all other conditions
