does n e one know roughly how much it will cost to have my head replaced, i thought i just had a blown gasket but i found out today my head was cracked

Well, i dont know about price but if i were you id get a recon'd head and not bother welding it up.

The previous owner did it on my car. He gor it done from Ford. $1300 i think it was. I have the reciept, if you want all the info like part cost labor etc just let me know.

Someone recently on the board said Ford sold reco heads at a discount , can anyone confirm this and maybe have a price on them as where i live is miles from no-where.

look mate put $1000 aside from your budget if they will do it, or ~$450 if your gonna do it.
