the xr6 i test drived had a greyish colour around the dashbord but has a
silver coloured auto sequential gear. shoudent they both have a the same colour????

or do u guys in aust have the same colour gear n the dashboard???

I would presume the silver trim around and on the SSS is supposed to tie in with the horizontal silver trim strip that divides the dash, which in itself is supposed to tie in with the 'satin finish' silver interior door handles. LWB cars will have a further piece of this satin silver trim on the doors behind the handles.

FPV vehicles replace this trim with a carbon look strip, but don't know what's around their SSS.

The Day after i picked my ute up i put armour all on everything i could think of, I turned the dash from a grey (sort of lightish, BA owners will know) to a almost black colour. It looks a treat against the silver finishes.
