Im looking at getting one of those XT sportspack limited editions currently on offer. I wanted pwer windows on rear too, but they are not coming like that from factory.

Some dealers said they can fit them at dealers no worries (about $500-600 ontop), but others are saying it cant be done, or if it is they will be different switches or something. According to Ford printed brochure and website, they are an "A" dealer accessory.

Has anyone had them fitted to XT by dealer? Is there an issue here?
Will the windows look and be just like a normal factory power windows?
If not it will have to be specialoerder and maybe they cant special order these as they are special deal etc etc.

could end up in a futura just to get the fast glass.

With a young child/infant in the back it's a real pain if you have to reach back and manually wind down the windows while you can also lock out the rear electric switches to stop kids impersonating a yo yo.

Ever heard of Air Con. A young infant wont be able to reach the wind winders if they are restrained properly, so no problem there, Air Con works for me

Bigget problem i find is the kids get out the car leave the rear left windo open 10 mm or so
next day im on the freeway its whistleing and carrying on.
There aint NO WAY i can close that window without stopping.
Or they keep opening the windows and the buffetting drives me crazy.
I want elec windows to keep them CLOSED!
