I was just wondering if anyone knew how the delivery of cars system works.

I know that my car left on Sunday from Melbourne and I live in Brisbane. It is on a truck, its thursday and I was just wondering how long it normally takes to get up here. Does it get delivered to the dealers or does it go to a holding yard and then have to go to the dealers.

My dealer isn't very good at expressing whats happening with my car so I am just wondering if anybody could help me out here?

They are usually shipped to a holding yard in your state then delivered to the dealer by the same transport company using local delivery vehicles

Yeh ring them up and they should be able to tell you when the car is going to arrive, or if it allready has. The cars are brought into Brisbane and dropped off at a holding yard of Finemores transport which is located near the Gateway Bridge, the cars are then unloaded off the larger B - Double trucks and are group together for delievery to their destination.
