Hi All
Checked out www.c2r.com.au and they are now selling they bodykit they manufactured for the DJR BA Falcons, the items available are the front winglets plus the piece in the middle, and the side and rear skirts, they are not allowed to sell the bonnet scoop or the rear spoiler as DJR has the patent on them.
I rang them the other day and was quoted $795.00 for the front winglets only painted in the matching Lightning Stike Silver ready to bolt on. Did not include the middle piece or postage.
A little pricey for my likeing, but I supose they are a quaility item and they are painted.
Quoted me $645.00 unpainted, alright if you own a panel shop.
Thats a rip off for 2 pieces of plastic. And for some reason they dont even make the bumper look like the djr one, the djr one looks like its one piece.

Fordy, they are the people who manufacture the kit for the DJR Fords, the front bumper is the standard XR item with the 3 pieces bolted to it, I suppose the reason why they are pricey is that they are quality items, hence why it looks like a one piece unit.
Me personaly am inclined to go for the carbon fibre GT front bumper as seen in these forums for around the $700.00 mark.
It was told when I called about it that the centre section of the front bar, the bonnet piece and the rear spoiler were exclusive to DJR and they couldn't sell them to me.
Imagine my surprise when Russ posted pics of the APS Phase 4 car...
Note the complete DJR front spoiler...

When I rang I spoke to an Adrian (I think) and he said he could price me on the winglets but not the middle piece as he hadn't priced them yet, but didn't say they were patented by DJR, only the hood scoop and rear spoiler were.
Its funny because I own an XR8 ute and when I bought it I said that I would put a Replica GT bar on it or similar so I could keep the original XR bar in the garage in new condition and put it back on at resale time, that was until I put a huge gouge on the left corner, so this is the reason I may go for them so as to cover the blemish up.
Just wish they were a bit cheaper though.
Do you know if the kit on that APS Falcon is from C2R or from another mob?
