DJR to compete with FPV?

I noticed this on the DJR website It would appear Dick is having another stab at the performance market what do we think?

Coming soon ....A very special range of high performance cars built by DJR in very limited numbers. The team at DJR have been working to enhance the current BA XR Falcon range to deliver an XR 6 Turbo and an XR 8 to 300kw spec.

Each car will be individually numbered and hand built to order with unique DJR styling. To register your interest email djr@djr.quicknet.com.au

The more competition the better.

FPV have already said 300 killa watts is achievable from the Boss donk, but it decreases torque/drivability so it will be interesting to see what Dick does with the XR8, might be quicker than the GT due to being lighter.
Now the XR6 @ 300 killas is another ball game, if weight is kept down it should be able bowl the GTS over. :)

DJR special vehicles

Just read on the DJR site that they have decided to modify an XR6T and an XR8 to 300kw.

Read Dick Johnson Performance Fords

Just been looking at the shell helix racing website, and apparently tricky dicky is doing his own versions of the XR range:

17-Mar-2003

DICK JOHNSON PERFORMANCE CARS

Watch this space for exiting opportunities to purchase the road cars driven by Dick, Steven, Max and the DJR team, these low kilometre cars will suit any new car buyer and will be advertised exclusively on this site for the first month.
