What is everyone useing for security for their new BA's??

I'm thinking of installing an alarm and/or other protective devices in mine, and need all the goss on whats good and whats not.

I have just got wheel lock nuts and a stearing wheel lock for those large car parks... Thats it for me..

Thank god you've stopped shouting! Do you know if these alarms are compatible with an AU? Of course you probably don't - why would you know or care. Think I'll ring Ford and ask for a price.

Same here. I was originally going to get QikTrak but after making some enquiries here on the Forum I got some fairly negative feedback on it and decided against it. The car is fully insured and gets replaced with a brand spanker if it gets stolen in the first year, not that I want this to happen of course.

I'm not a big believer in alarms, most people ignore them. I know I would hesitate to challenge someone I saw getting into a car with an alarm going off in case they pulled a knife or gun.

No alarm here. Not a fan of steering wheel locks (cut the steering wheel off she comes)
What I have got is a Solex pedal lock.

Dont know how easy it is to crack but gives me peace of mind.

Also have lock nuts.

i relie on the factory fitted smart lock which incorporates an engine immoboliser on my ELXR8.

I feel comfortable enough with the factory security to keep mine safe.

Even if was a BA id still feel safe with the factory security.
