Although I normally get along fine with the TCS in my BA Ghia, yesterday it helped me to bog my car in my own driveway.
Couldn't stop laughing as the solenoids rattled away and the engine sat at idle, whilst still spinning the unloaded wheel, digging it deep into the (gravel) surface.
I was pulling my trailer uphill out from it's parking place, something I normally do without drama with my (FWD) Verada wagon.
Having previously questioned why anyone would spend up big on the LSD option for towing only, I guess I have answered my own question
By the time I stopped laughing it was too late to try the 'rock back and forth' escape and I had to remove the trailer prior to driving out.
I was able to pull the trailer forward about 1 metre by hand and then tow it out normally.
Maybe a manual diff lock would be the shot!
Must see what the old man has in his collection of old Jeeps.
