hey ya I was just wondering if anyone knows if I will be able to drive a BA XR6 non turbo on my P plates in Vic. because I don’t want to buy one and then be fined and hassled by the cops because it over power to weight. I really can’t wait to I get it. It should be so cool yay… Are there any problems that I should look out for when buying one? Thanx for the help
yeah, the limit for a p plater is 8kg/kw in vic. that means that you would need.... if the car is 1.7 tonnes.... 212.5KW at the flywheel. so you are home safely. (can you tell i am only just off my p's???) lol
2003 BA FUTURA. Harvest Green, Lowered with Kings springs and Koni shocks, 18" GT-P mag wheels, XR front bar headlights and grill, XR rear spoiler, Fairmont Bootlid trim, XR6T snorkle, Typhoon second CAI, K&N filter, Pacemaker extractors with Herrod cat back, 3.73 LSD & CAPA FLASH with custom tune. ALSO 12" dual voice coil kicker, JL 5x7's and 1800W of amps!
make sure it's got lsd, i have noticed that it gets released with out lsd in some cases! If your buying it new, decide upon if you want premium sound, leather and sun roof because later down the track to get these items it will be much more expensive!
glad we didnt have these rules in NSW when i got my licence.... younger sister cant drive either of my parents cars or mine... if you car is just under the limit and you do some modds can the police take it and get it dyno'd?
