Ok so Im on my way home, and its been a long day, and i need to grin.

I should know better, and I cant condone it, but I was OWNED big time off the lights. In my defence the other car hadnt quite come to a standstill when the lights changed, and i had been stopped for about a minute.

But god-damn. I did all the right things. used manual mode,loaded it up before the ligths changed so i had plenty revs before taking foot off brake and I gave it a good go.
Mate by the time i reached 80 he was about waaaaay in front of me

But..I didnt mind..
in fact I couldnt stop grinning and laughing!

MY car Stock XT 6 auto (sports pack body/susp/wheels kit)
his car BA XR8 ute with many mods (car is well known in the area)
I just wanted to see and hear that ute go hard! (and i guess i wanted to see just HOW much faster it was..heaps!)

I just flogged a VX SS in the XR8. He was trying so hard to catch me after I got the jump at the lights but I just kept pulling away. Now if only those chumps in the VY's would run me.

I had to laugh at the guy in an old commy, who tried to take me on a few months ago, not realising I was in the right hand turn lane, and he was going straight ahead.
Never mind the fact we were also a fair few cars back from the lights.
My lane went first and once I started to move he floored it straight into the back of the Lexus in front of him.

Seeing the look on his face in my rear view mirror.... priceless
