Re: drop tank

American Auto does a drop tank for XA-XC $990.00 . Haven't seen one and currently I am looking into this myself . My first step is to find a photo of a xa with one in to see what they would look like . Then from there start looking for one

Thumbs up Re: drop tank

If ya wanted a long range tank(120 litres) for an XB, Gt Ford Performance - www.fomoco.com.au sells them and the sender units. Part #: LRTXAC-03
You'd have to have heaps of spare cash around to go about filling a tank bigger than 120 ltrs every time. These tanks were an option on every xb.

Re: drop tank

I've seen some where the fuel tank exended into spare wheel well thi would give about an extra 40L?

I agree about the droptanks looking ugly, they were all the rage in the 80's, I mean who's dream car didn't include a drop tank?

I think they could be a saftey issue in an accident.
